Fuel Finder Price Submission API

Use this API to submit retail fuel prices across Great Britain. Submissions must be made within 30 minutes of any price change.

Before you start

To use Fuel Finder, you must sign in with GOV.UK One Login that has been set up by your motor fuel trader organisation. If you do not have access, contact your organisation’s admin.

You’ll need:

• A motor fuel trader registered GOV.UK One Login to access the API
• understanding of REST API principles
• technical capability to integrate with JSON APIs

This API covers filling stations in United Kingdom.

API authentication

Access to API services requires authentication. The Fuel Finder API supports OAuth 2.0 (client credentials). You can access the client secret to update fuel prices. Only one client secret will be available to your organisation. You can regenerate a new client secret in case you lose it or need a new one.
